Ten Things You Can Do to Oppose the War in Afghanistan

This article was found in "The Nation" apeared in the April 27th.

By far, this article has been the most hideous aricle that I have read so far. I was a bit flabergasted as I saw the article. "Ten Things You Can Do to Oppose the War in Afghanistian"
In response to the 10 ideas.
Their first idea, was to have more of a stategy, plan, protection against the Afghan women stated in the trailer. To start off, the American soldiers have been in Country disabling the IED's. And as you may hear on the news, that Americans ran over a "roadside" bomb. Wow, everytime, I hear a reporter say that, they sound phemonally studpid. There are NO, "roadside bombs". A majortiy of the time, there are no true roads in Afgahnistain. The bombs are in the roads not on the side of the road. If the IEDs, were on the side of the road. Then, why in the heck would Americans be driving on the side of the road? Some of the American Soldiers are there looking for those, IED's disabling them before an explosion would happen for protection of the Afgahn civilians and of course protection the American Soliders that are there. This is just one of theire missions that they are fulling while in Country.
The second point, for alternative stategies. The above mentioned is working so far for the protection of the Afgahn women and children. Along with other stargies in the process at this time.
The third idea, just sounds disrepectful!
The fouth idea, just sounds disprectfull!
The fifth idea, of what to ask the Congressional hearing about Afgahnisitian. Would be to send more troops. Personally, they should remove the act that Bush put in place several years ago of placing the Full time military in Country for 6 months. This enabled the Country not to have a draft. In return the National Guards throughout the US, are the majority of the ones who are active in the War from the US. Which, that is not the purpose of the Guard. I seriously, tought that there should have been a draft several years ago.
Their sixth idea, send more troops to Afgahnistian!
Their seventh idea, for placing information in the paper. The same as above, remove troops from Iraq, place more in Afgahnistian, remove the hideious Act that Bush placed, implace a draft.
Their eigth Yes, Americans who are for the women and children should send items to Afgahnistain. I personally, have sent items to Country for the Children. Obviously the children, don't have anything. I have sent, crayons, candy, paper, etc. The American Soldiers hand the chlidren bottles of Water, the children fight other children just to get on of those bottles of Water.
Their ninth, of joining a campus anti War. This is absolutely disrespectful the soldiers who in the War now, and who have already served their time in Country.
The tenth, my response to this last idea is the same as number 9.

Opposing and convincing the public to stop the War in Afghanistan apparently do not have the knowledge of what is going on in Country. Personally, I take that as disrespect for the American troops who have served in that country. The American troops have been serving a purpose in Country. Drafting the Taliban, which as stated in the Article 2008 was the worst year to date.

In just the opposite, of the Iraq War. The soldiers deserve respect, but there has been no "true" reason to be there.
